In November 2015, through a series of text messages and email exchanges, Emma Bouthillette took over a book project from her college classmate Camille Smalley. Rather far along in the pitch process, the proposal was quickly accepted.
So began a year-long journey of researching Biddeford, Maine, and crafting a book that aims to be an accessible text for “readers and history lovers alike.” This book is on tap for a spring 2017 release through Arcadia Publishing. It will join the voluminous collection of Brief History, a series from The History Press.
This site will be the primary resource to learn more about the book, when it will be available to readers and where to find copies. Also, stay tuned for various author events!
